The shipwrecks include the galleons, wrecks of ships from the world war two, and many other merchant ships of the medieval century. There are also options for snorkeling, which is an easier option compared to scuba diving. Diving season in Goa starts from November and till the end of November the conditions remain favorable for scuba diving in Goa. Even though there are numerous a diving sites to experience the exotic ecstasy of the under water world in Goa a few a prominent as the land marks among the avid scuba divers. These includes the Suzy’s wreck, Davy Jones locker, Sail rock, Turbo Tunnel, shelter Cove and the Uma Guma Reef. All of the sites are unique since all of them has their own distinctive features. For example the clear and shallow waters of the Suzy’s wreck that abounds in variety of fishes, sail rock famous for its big fishes and the hard corals and reef sharks of Uma Guma reef are known for individuality and distinctiveness.
Scuba Diving Gears :
Masks, Snorkels and Fins are the basic diving gears. Single, two, three and four window masks are the best option for better visibility especially under deep water. Slip on fins allow more water to flow over the blade, so, these are suitable for warm water diving. You can choose strap fins for a better performance. These fins allow a smoother and more powerful kick without much effort.
